New Garden Friends School

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your interest in New Garden Friends School.  Our community offers students from Early School (3 and 4 year olds) through 12th grade an innovative, process-oriented and developmentally appropriate curriculum that honors each student's unique abilities in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.

As a Quaker school, we are committed to promoting the basic testimonies of Friends - Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality and Stewardship -  and providing all of our students with opportunities to "let their lives speak" of excellence and caring.

Our belief in the power and promise of diversity embraces people of different religious beliefs, economic and cultural backgrounds, races, nationalities, sexual orientations and genders.

Student at Cotopaxi EcuadorThe School has three divisions on three campuses. Early School (3 & 4 yr olds), while part of the Lower Division,  is located at New Garden Friends Meeting on New Garden Road.  Lower Division (K through Grade 4) and Middle Division (Grades 5-8) are located on the Guilford College campus on New Garden Rd.  The Upper Division (Grades 9-12) is located on Pleasant Ridge Rd.

Our website provides a wealth of information to help you learn more about us.  We offer open houses throughout the school year that provide an overview of our campuses. These gatherings occur both in the evening and at lunchtime to accommodate your schedules.

Perhaps the best way to get to know us is to plan a personal visit. I encourage you to call and make an appointment to visit the school, sit in the classroom of your interest and discuss your child and their needs.  We will answer your questions and help you through the admissions process.  Brochure packets containing applications are available by calling or completing the inquiry form link.  You may also select the application link and choose the appropriate form.

I hope you enjoy your tour through our site.  I look forward to your getting to know us and would be happy to answer any additional questions you might have.

Thank you,

Chris Winchester
