Support for NGFS

Thank you for your interest in supporting New Garden Friends School! Our school was founded on philanthropy through gifts of resources, time, and talents. The continuation and expansion of giving to NGFS since then has helped us become a strong, independent Quaker institution of learning. Family, alumni, and friends provide funding for our educational opportunities and for our long-term goals, which include expanding tuition assistance, increasing faculty compensation, building endowment, and improving and expanding the campus.

The Advancement Office leads all fundraising activities, alumni relations, and external communications for the school. We strive to communicate what is happening at the school, to explain current initiatives, and to communicate how your gifts are making a difference each and every day. This includes financial support as well as volunteer involvement.

Your support and the contributions of others enable us to recruit and retain talented, dedicated teachers. It allows us to maintain and enhance our beautiful campus. It sustains our commitment to diversity by supporting more than $1.0 million of tuition assistance as well as merit scholarships. Whether it is to recognize the extraordinary experience you received as an alumnus, make a difference in the education of your child or grandchild, or simply because you believe in the mission and value of a NGFS education, your gift will ensure that each of our students receives an extraordinary experience and foundation that inspires and prepares them to be stewards of their world and leaders of the future.

Whether as an Annual Fund contribution, a bequest in your will, a capital gift for a building project or to build our endowment, or the gift of your time to volunteer in our classrooms or for a special event, your contributions are making a real difference. For questions about the advancement efforts at NGFS, please contact Lore Fariss at 336-346-3176 or at for more information.

Honoring a Special Teacher

The Retired Staff Endowment Fund was established in 2014 to honor our retiring faculty and staff and help build a foundation for a professional development fund. Your gift not only honors the retirees in a meaningful way but also helps support the school community that they love dearly.

Your gifts will be acknowledged to the honoree with a special note. Choose "Retiring Staff" on the online giving form here.
