Education: B.S. in Environmental Science and minor in Agricultural Science from Ferrum College
Katie grew up in Davie County and graduated from Davie County High School. She was a competitive swimmer for over fifteen years, four of which were spent swimming at the collegiate level. She has a strong passion for environmental and agricultural advocacy/education, forestry, and all things Appalachia. In her free time, she enjoys working out, hiking, playing with her dogs, riding horses, reading, baking, and listening to bluegrass and country music.
