NGFS Athletics Handbook

All athletic competitions (meets, games, matches) are posted on the NGFS Athletics calendar and on the NGFS App calendar.

All NGFS athletes must have the following completed forms: consent to participate, physical evaluation, and concussion. These forms are located on the NGFS Athletics home page.

Health Protocol for Athletic Events at NGFS


As of March 14, 2022, NGFS is mask optional, inside and outside.

Health Screening

All NGFS students and staff are required to complete a health screening before coming on campus. Students or staff who fail the health screening are not allowed on campus. This health screening is monitored by the NGFS Health team. 

Visitors to athletic events are not required to complete a health screening but are asked to stay home if they:

  • have been diagnosed with COVID -19 or have had a positive COVID test
  • are feeling unwell
  • are experiencing any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19 including the following list: 
    • Runny nose or Congestion, a change from baseline
    • Sore throat
    • New or worsening headache, a change from baseline
      • New or worsening cough, a change from baseline
    • Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea
    • Fever/Chills
    • Fatigue (extreme)
    • Muscle aches/body aches
    • Loss of taste or smell
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • are unvaccinated and have had a known exposure to COVID-19 
  • are unvaccinated and have a sick household member awaiting results of a COVID-19 test 

Concessions are currently closed at NGFS. No eating or drinking is allowed in the gym. (Players are permitted to use water bottles.)

Spectators are asked to keep six feet of distance between themselves and others outside their household.
