Beginning in Lower School, students have opportunities to explore creativity, confidence, and self-expression through drama! Students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade and students in 3rd through 6th grade participate in an annual production, giving them the chance to develop performance skills while working collaboratively with their peers. Lower School productions are led by First Grade Teacher Samantha and School Counselor Jen, who brings additional expertise through her degree in ballet from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
As students progress into Middle and Upper School, drama opportunities expand under the guidance of a dedicated drama instructor. Middle School students build their theatrical skills through coursework and performance experiences, including presenting mini-performances for younger students. In Upper School, students have the opportunity to participate in a full-scale theatrical production, taking on acting, technical, and leadership roles while bringing a major performance to life for the school community.
