POLARIS is an arts and literary magazine created by NGFS Upper School students and published near the end of EACH school year. All NGFS community members are invited to submit to the publication.
Dear Readers,
The end of the school year is upon us, and the winds of change are yet again blowing across our campus. With the blooming of the flowers and the return of warm, muggy days, the trickling flow of summertime slowness has arrived. This edition of Polaris has a certain air of laid-back energy to it, something intangible but notable. From the photography and art to the poetry and prose, take time to really relax, and soak in the sun with Polaris in your hand. We hope that the featured works inspire you to let your creativity emerge, and really take life a bit slower than usual. Like everyone before it, this issue celebrates self-expression by giving members of the community an opportunity to share their unique creative voices and visions. We hope you enjoy the 25-26 edition of Polaris, one page at a time.
