Welcome to New Garden Friends School
We’re so glad you’ve chosen to explore what a New Garden Friends School education can provide for your child. Choosing a school can be a daunting experience, but we strive to make it as easy, open, and friendly as possible. The goal of our admissions process is for your family to get to know New Garden Friends School and for us to get to know you and your child. Throughout the process you will be considering if NGFS will enable you to provide the educational experience you are looking for, and we will be determining whether we think this is a school at which your child will thrive.
While we’ve tried to answer lots of questions here, nothing takes the place of a visit. We’d like to get to know you and your child, and we want you to have an opportunity to get answers to all of your questions.
Limited spaces are available for the current year, 2024-25. Please contact the Admissions office to find out the availability in a particular grade: admissions@ngfs.org.
Our Values
Our community is built on Quaker values of equality, peace, simplicity, social justice, and continuing revelation and seeking truth. Every voice matters at New Garden Friends School. We value each member of our community as an individual. We embrace diversity in all of its dimensions and seek students who are curious, caring, and compassionate.
Our Program
We are a community of learners. From preschool through 12th grade, our students experience critical thinking and experiential learning beyond the classroom. Developmentally appropriate curriculum is introduced at each level and accommodations are made to support and challenge students. Service learning and outdoor education are important facets of our all school program across grade levels.
Our Faculty
Our students address teachers by their first names. It’s simple, but significant. It stems from the belief that every person deserves respect. At NGFS, students are known.
