WEEKEND SCHEDULE of EVENTS & TICKET INFORMATION

Alumni Gathering: Friday 5:30-7:30 p.m.

This casual drop-in event will take place at Oden Brewing Company in downtown  Greensboro at 802 West Gate City Boulevard; Oden is not far from 840 Neal Street,  home of NGFS in the ‘80’s.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Free indoor/outdoor event. Parking onsite. All ages are welcome!

Unity Festival: Saturday 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Come home for one of New Garden Friends School’s favorite events, taking place on the Guilford  Campus at 1128 New Garden Road.

Photo booth, games, activities, fun for all ages!

We hope everyone will participate in our community service project benefiting Out of the Garden Project.

Live music performed by Walker Street Fiddlers, led by Scott Walker

Forget the Starbucks run! Enjoy a delicious beverage at the festival from Grinders Coffee truck (see menu here). The Homeslice Pizza truck will be there too; check out their menu here! Don't forget dessert from Pelican's SnoBalls.

Admission: $10 per person, $25 per family; tickets can be purchased in advance HERE or at the event.

Parking at Guilford College; follow the signs!

Alumni & Friends Basketball Game: Saturday 12:30-2:30 p.m.

Cheer for NGFS alumni, former and current staff, and students as they play in a fun and friendly competition!

Located at the Page-Frederiksen Campus at 2015 Pleasant Ridge Road.

Enjoy Taco Bros food truck! They will be on site 11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Check out the menu. Fresh made  guacamole-yum!

Admission: $10 per person, $25 per family, tickets can be purchased in advance HERE or at the event.  Current NGFS students admitted free.

Fabulous 50th Celebration and Auction: Saturday 7-10 p.m.

Help us celebrate the past 50 years as we look forward to the school’s future! 

We are excited to be together in person for the first time in over two years to show our support for our current and future students as we raise funds for financial assistance.

Located at the Page-Frederiksen Campus at 2015 Pleasant Ridge Road.

Our special guest speaker will be Bob Welsh, former head of NGFS from 1973-1980.

Enjoy delicious food provided by Painted Plate Catering while reconnecting with friends. Indoor and outdoor dining available.

Alumni parent Andy Kennedy will return to host the live auction and Raise Your Paddle portion.

The auction will include online silent bidding, a live bidding portion, and an option to Raise Your Paddle  to support our students.

The silent auction will feature mobile online bidding (no bid sheets!). Stop by the photo booth to create a lasting memento!

Ticket prices: $125 per individual, $225 per couple; individual drink tickets and wristbands also available. Purchase tickets here. Current staff, please see school email for discounted ticket information.

Even if you can’t attend in person, you can still join in on the fun by bidding on items online. Online bidding opens April 16. Purchase a virtual bidder ticket here.
