Board Meetings FAQ

The board meets monthly during the school year. 

Meetings follow an agenda set in advance in order to respect volunteers’ time and to ensure that adequate attention is allotted to all relevant topics. 

Members of the school community may observe and listen at any meeting or portion thereof that does not take place in executive session. Executive session is determined at the discretion of the clerk of the board.

If a member of the community would like to make a presentation at a board meeting, the board clerk must be contacted no less than 10 days in advance of the meeting so that the clerk may confirm that the proposed topic falls under governance/board purview. If affirmed, the speaker and budgeted time will be added to the agenda.
